When the world itself has transformed into a digital one, we all have to upgrade ourselves constantly to the transformative forces that are a part and parcel of the digital landscape. Agentic AI is not your typical AI, it has more to offer. Artificial Intelligence has brought in radical changes across various sectors. From finance to everyday domestic spaces like the kitchen, thrives with AI. And as the AI grew, it started getting more professional and sophisticated, giving rise to a distinct type of AI – The Agentic AI.
What sets the Agentic AI apart from other generative models is that it retains a certain degree of autonomy. Their job does not end with simply responding to the given prompt. They are initiators who can understand contexts and carry out tasks accordingly. All we have to do is give a high-level objective and be there to supervise. The rest of the job is theirs to deal with. And trust me, they will carry it out with precision and accuracy, just the way you want it. With the ability to memorize a past command, Agentic AI can not only foresee the user’s needs but also adjust itself based on previous interactions.
Possessing human-like features, Agentic AIs cannot exist alone. Just like us, it is also a part of a large system and requires a context. It can engage with its environment, be it physical or digital, and can even adapt to problems or situations in real time, offering solutions. They can learn from their past mistakes and modify themselves. Based on their understanding of the environment, they can give suggestions or make recommendations, like not going out predicting bad weather.
It is no surprise that we constantly hear the term Agentic AI being used everywhere. They are definitely one of the biggest hits among all the other AI models that made their entry into the market this year. The more recognition it gets and the more we use it, these systems will slowly change the world before we know it.
